Admission in 1st year
Inscription
All applicants (including those with a foreign baccalaureate) must apply via the Parcoursup national portal. Admission is only possible to the first year.
Admission
The selection process consists of a review of the applicant’s academic record, after which they may either be directly admitted to IG2I, considered eligible, or not selected.
Examination of academic record:
- Examination of the results and assessments of the first and final year report cards for science, literature, and foreign languages. Applicants are assessed on the basis of their relative position in the class
- Covering letter (training plans) and curriculum vitae (activities and interests).
- Interest in the areas of training (IT and industry) and knowledge of the IG2I.
An admission threshold and an eligibility threshold are set each year.
- If your application is above the admission threshold, you will be admitted directly into the IG2I.
- If your application is below the eligibility threshold, you will not be selected.
- If your score is between the two thresholds, you will be considered eligible and invited to an oral test. After this, you will be admitted or not into the IG2I.
Eligible candidates are invited to an oral test: a 20-minute interview to assess the candidate’s motivation. Eligible applicants then choose the day and time of their oral test on the Parcoursup portal. The oral test takes place at IG2I (Lens, Nord).
If you have been directly accepted or not selected based on the review of your file, you do not need to take the oral test.

Calendar
- 14 March 2024: deadline for making your wishes known on Parcoursup
- From mid-April: If you are invited for an oral interview, you must choose a time slot from those offered on the Parcoursup portal.
- May: Oral tests
