Parallel admissions are open to students preparing or holding a BTS, a BUT (2nd or 3rd year), a bachelor‘s degree in the specialist disciplines taught at the IG2I or in the final year of a scientific CPGE.

Admissions are also open to foreign students preparing a diploma equivalent to those mentioned above and proving a B2 level in French.

Terms and conditions of the competitive examination for admission on the basis of a portfolio

The competitive entrance exam for 2nd or 3rd year consists of an admissibility phase and an admission phase:

  • Admissibility phase: examination of academic records, leading to the award of a mark.
  • Admission phase: a 20-minute oral interview to assess the candidate’s motivation. A mark is awarded for this test.

Admission to the Centrale-Supélec competition

Admissions to the Centrale-Supélec competitive entrance exam are open to CPGE MPI students.

Admission to the ATS competitive examination

Admissions to the ATS competitive entrance examination are open to students enrolled in the Industrial Engineering ATS preparatory course and holding a DUT or BTS.

Registration for the competitive entrance examination takes place between the beginning of January and the beginning of March.

Tuition fees are set by the government at €2 613 per year (2025–2026 rates), subject to change for 2026–2027.
Free for students receiving grants.

For students from outside the EU:
€2,895 per year for the first two years, then €3,941 per year for the last three years (indicative figure for 2025-2026)
