Centrale Lille’s international policy focuses on three areas:

  • Preparing its future graduates for the globalisation of economic activities and for practising their profession in a multicultural environment,
  • To build up a network of graduates abroad so that they can become future contacts for companies in their home countries,
  • Strengthen the dynamism and recognition of its research activity by promoting international cooperation programmes and reinforcing the institution’s international positioning.

International experience

100% of IG2I graduates have at least 17 weeks’ international experience (14 weeks for apprentices).

To enable student engineers to enrich their international experience, the school relies on its academic, corporate and research partners.

As part of their initial training, students are required to complete a placement in an English-speaking environment of at least 17 weeks between the third and fourth years of their course. Apprentices must complete at least 14 weeks of international work experience abroad.

The school also offers the opportunity to spend a semester on exchange in the final year or to take a double degree with one of our partners.
